Road

Sun was setting in the west
N' the Moon was risin' in the East
Hangin' on the timeline with you babe
Ridin', I felt like a Beast.

Dragnflies criss-crossing
Toads croaking n' jumping, wilderness hissin'
on the broken road between the woods,
Shudderingly, embracing and kissin'
The Mother Nature

Such a beauty from far
fierce when close
sharp razor and blades all along,
were cutting our shoulders n' elbows

In dark, the doors behind closed
We see only as far as the headlight goes
Few passers-by were like spirits n' ghosts
No matter how bumpy it was
It kept on pullin' us and we gave in
Such was the nature of the Road

Hills in clouds, inviting in the day
were haunting and deadly at night
And the closer we wanted to come
The farther they went from the sight
