You and Me

If ever Love took a mortal form
And chose to descent on this mortal World.
If ever Cupid’s arrow struck and pierced the hearts full of love.
If ever nature danced in joy
and bowed Her head in tribulation to God.
If ever sky kneeled down and embraced this Earth with open arms.
If ever water personified sympathy
And quenched the thirsty tiery desert.
If ever chilly winters shook hands with warmth
And paved the way for Sun to walk in pride at night.
Looking ahead in the same way, if ever God smiled
It was seeing You and Me together reside.
